Product introduction

PD1 Module Specification

Overview:

The PD1 is a Powered Device (PD) and embedded isolated PoE end-point module based on the IEEE 802.3af standard. The PD controller section of this module provides functions for the PD in a PoE system, such as signature detection and inrush current limiting. It integrates a power MOSFET rated for 100V with an on-resistance of 0.6Ω and includes built-in protection features like current limiting, undervoltage protection and overheat protection. The DC/DC controller section features an integrated 150V power MOSFET. It uses Primary Side Regulation (PSR), offers a precise constant voltage control loop and operates in a combined PWM+PFM mode. This design achieves high system efficiency and excellent EMI performance. All capacitors used are solid-state (non-liquid), ensuring no leakage at high temperatures and a long service life.

The PD1 module size is 38mm x 38mm with 34mm x 34mm standard mounting holes. All components are surface-mount packaged, ultra-thin and small in size that is compatible with most stack-up structures. As an embedded, isolated PoE endpoint module, it receives power from a PoE power sourcing equipment (PSE) via a Category 5 network cable. The PD1 series modules support five current limiting modes, maximizing the safety of the back-end power system.

FAQ

How to troubleshoot a video recorder not being connected to the internet?

Advanced Configuration - Network Management - Local Network - Network Diagnostics - Ping test on Baidu to see if the connection to the external network is successful.

Hikvision cameras cannot connect to our recorders/show incorrect password.

Hikvision and Dahua cameras require a webpage to set up an ONVIF account and password.

Which media player should I use after backing up files from my VCR?

VlC

Do any video recorders support NAS storage?

3588 series

Does the TuYa/ENZT kit support the ONVIF protocol?

TuYa/ENZT kits do not support ONVIF.

There should be no sound when watching the video on the recorder, and no walkie-talkie should be used.

You can fix it by changing the camera parameters and the video stream.
